Qualifications:  Ability to make accurate mathematical calculations, data entry, proficient computer skills (MS-Word, Excel, Office), well organized individual, good problem solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as deal effectively with the public, county offices and co-workers.   In-house training provided, as well as off-site courses to obtain industry appraisal designation (C.F.E.).  Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Nature of work:  Contacts owners of commercial properties or their designated representative.  Responsible for the evaluation of all tangible personal property within an assigned geographic area.  Work includes verification of ownership of commercial properties, recognizing taxable tangible personal property items, processing and auditing Tangible Tax Returns, data research, collection and entry; ability to perform assignments with a minimum of supervision.  Dependability and positive attitude are a must.
