COMMERCIAL APPRAISER II

The Osceola County Property Appraiser has an immediate opening for a Commercial Property Appraiser.  This position is responsible for appraising various types of commercial properties for ad valorem assessments.  Experience in appraising commercial vacant land and income producing properties such as hotels, shopping centers, apartments, offices, and other similar properties is needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have at least 3 years of appraisal experience with at least 1 year of
commercial experience. 

Must have an Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in
Business Administration, Accounting, Management, Economics, Real Estate
or related field.  Higher levels of education or training may offset commercial
appraisal experience requirement.

In lieu of this educational requirement they must have at least 4 years of
progressively responsible appraisal experience with at least 2 years of
commercial experience.

Desired qualifications are appraisal designation and/or ad valorem experience.         

Osceola County Property Appraiser’s Office offers an excellent benefits package including a retirement program.  Salary commensurate with education and experience.  Salary range $37,000 - $61,000.
